Aerocool Limited was first registered as a privately traded company in February 2001.
John Anderson, the original founder of the company, still retains 43% of the 5.7 million shares.
The remainder of the shares are held by 76 other shareholders, being grower and non-grower stakeholders.

Aerocool Ltd site, just South of Te Puke, (commonly known as the Birley site) where 3.8 million trays of GREEN kiwifruit and 150,000 GOLD kiwifruit were packed in the 2011 season.
