What we do best is packing fruit well and minimising the cost of storing fruit over time. We believe this should always be our number one priority as a packhouse and cool store business.

Our company is well positioned to offer a competitive and professional post-harvest service to our growers today and into the future.

Packing and cool storing kiwifruit is our CORE business, with GREEN kiwifruit being our speciality. This deliberate decision has been made by Aerocool to allow its attention to be concentrated on maximising returns for GREEN growers. Hayward is still the main variety in this industry and deserves to have a concentrated focus throughout the year, not just when GOLD kiwifruit load outs have been completed.

We pack over five million trays of kiwifruit per annum, of which approximately 200,000 trays are GOLD kiwifruit.

We have competitive pricing structures that will please you. We provide an OGR (Orchard Gate Return) that is consistantly in the top quartile of industry participants year-in year-out.

Did you know Aerocool has the largest percentage of Controlled Atmosphere (CA) coolstorage?

We have a CA storage capacity of 700,000 trays.

Reducing storage costs and minimising fruitloss through our CA technology is a key part of our business. We are recognised in the industry as having a good history of CA storage, which year-on-year produce fruitloss below that of conventionally stored fruit.

We are fully compliant with industry requirements

• We have British Retail Consortium (BRC) and Globalgap approval – this is a must for kiwifruit exports

• We are MAF Accreditated and have Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) approval returns.
